GBE 82 - Marijuana

Photobucket

The topic this week in the GBE is should or shouldn't Marijuana be legalized?

Cannabis. You know, that stuff also known as aunt mary, boom, chronic, dope, ganja, gangster, grass, hash, herb, kif, mary jane, pot, reefer, sinsemilla, skunk, weed, and a whole list of other names.

With big companies and big brother watching even the blogs we write, we must be careful about what we say, or should I say, how we word it. But I will say this: Marijuana doesn't mess you up as much as alcohol, and alcohol is legal. So what do you think I think? Make it legal and the pros outweigh cons... It just makes sense. Right now we have all cons - in jail for getting pulled over or stopped and having a little weed on them. Our taxes are going to house so-called criminals, while child molesters and violent criminals get reduced sentences because of overcrowding of our jails.

There is a difference between a casual user and a trafficker. But if made legal, the
trafficker would just become another company that could be taxed and become a source of revenue. And isn't it all about generating revenue?

Tell me what you think. And also tell me songs you think of that I missed. You guys KNOW I have to include music. ;-)

So, before you start commenting back, just press play and listen to some of the music I found. I had so many songs to choose from.
If you want, go ahead and post any you happen to think of with your comment.

Awwww. Those were the days. *sigh*

This is my submission to the GBE. This week's topic is "Legalize Marijuana?"

The GBE, or Group Blogging Experience is great fun. Each week (usually on Tuesday) we are given a general topic by our fearless leader Alicia and we have until that Saturday to blog about it. Say whatever you want. Silly, serious, true, fiction, debate.... whatever. It's up to you.

If your interested just go to Alicia's Blog and and check it out. If you want to participate comment her blog saying "I'm in", that's it. No big sign up or anything. You blog and she'll link to your blog and everyone else's on Saturday.

Make sure you're not private, although it's not a necessity. It just makes it easier for everyone to read your submission.
