Amazing Race

Tonight another race starts. I first started watching "The Amazing Race" because nothing else was on. I soon found that it was a very addictive show. For those who have never watched it, you should. Here you can find the rules and history of the Race. I'm also including some of Charlie McCollum's newspaper article:

"Meanwhile, on the weekend TV front, "The Amazing Race'' — which looked for a while like it wouldn't be back until the summer — zips back onto the CBS with its 12th edition Sunday at 8 p.m. (Our thanks for that go to the train wreck that was "Viva Laughlin'' — canceled after just two episodes.

The series, in which 11 teams compete in an around-the-world race, has lost some spark in recent seasons, but it's still the classiest (and at its best, one of the most addictive) reality shows on television. This time, the teams include fathers and daughters, grandfathers and grandsons, dating goths, dating non-goths, married lesbian ministers, sisters and just good friends. Starting from Los Angeles — at the Playboy Mansion, of all places — this season's race will cover
30,000 miles and five countries never before visited, including
Ireland (the first stop) and Croatia.

Let the "Race'' begin!"

I couldn't agree more- Let's go!
